Hello, I’m Madeleine!
I’m a creative based in Hobart. After moving away from my home town to Melbourne for a number of years, returning to Tasmania had me yearning to reconnect with my island home.
I stepped off the plane in Hobart for a holiday to see my family and took a deep breath. I was hit with the realisation that I was breathing fresh air (mixed with a tinge of nostalgic jet fuel), and that night, I would be able to see the stars from the balcony of my childhood home.
Three years on after endless weekends immersed in wild places, my love for Tasmania and its unique landscape continues to grow. As a photographer, I’m particularly inspired by the potential of visual storytelling to promote authentic experiences, and conservation of our natural wonders.
I find joy in wilderness, travel, portrait, product and lifestyle photography. If you have a project in mind, please get in touch. I love helping people realise their creative vision!
